Surviving the Stringy Hair?

ok, look past those big beautiful eyes and those sweet pinchable cheeks and see the stringy. I brush it and 5 minutes later the stringyness is back with a vengeance.

What do you think? Is it time for the first haircut? Do we need bangs? I'm so afraid if we cut it that the curl will fall out and I adore those sweet ringlets almost as much as I am frustrated with the stringyness....

What should I do? Are there any anti-stringy toddler hair products on the market!

Surviving the Spoiling!

Every good grandkid needs to be spoiled by a good grandparent from time to time. And my parents are KING and QUEEN of the spoiling! I take great joy in the relationship LK shares with Ammy and Papa.

But there is a brief period after the GPs (grandparents for short) are gone that my sweet, spoiled toddler turns the sweetness into rottenness. You know what I'm talking about: the fussing, whining, I-want-what-I-want-and-I-want-it-now mentality.

So how do we move back into routine? Ideas?!

Here's what I've got....

1. Routine
2. Distractions
3. Routine
4. Healthy Discipline
5. Routine
6. Routine
7. Routine

Other ideas?!! Leave a comment!

Secret Weapon

So this may very well not be a secret but it is A-MAZING. It has only failed one test I have ever challenged it with (removing wall paint from the toilet). Every parent needs this weapon. No, take that back......every human being needs this weapon.

This weapon will take care of crayon/marker marks, grease, caked on food from ovens, soap scum, bath ring, etc.....

This weapon is so wonderful, some might call it magic. And it is.

That's right friends, I'm talking about the magic eraser from Mr. Clean. My life wouldn't be the same without it. Your life wouldn't/won't be the same without it. If you do not regular use the magic, start using it. If you do use the magic, let's hear more ideas from its amazingness....if you don't like the magic, we can't be friends. Just kidding (kind of ).

It is a mystery to me...how does it work? what cleaner is in it? seriously.... it's magic. Use the magic!

*****Disclaimer****** It is NOT a good idea for your little one's sweet fingers to "help" with this sponge. If rubbed on skin enough, it can cause some pretty serious burns on skin!!
