I love living in McKinney.
In case you hadn't heard...Money Magazine voted McKinney No. 5 on the best places to live in America.
One of the reasons I love McKinney so much is because they have fun family events. In the town square (yes, we have a town square, another reason I love McKinney) this weekend they are having an Oktoberfest festival. There are fun things for the whole family. A petting zoo, train, food, food, food, polka bands, german people, food. So much fun.

The only downer was it was raining...we would have stayed much longer if it wasn't! We tried to make the most of it.

Kyle bought sugared pecans.
He likes them.
My mom would have liked them if she were here.
Laura Kate put one in her mouth, sucked off all the sugar and gave it back to Kyle.
She is my child.
