Today, Val is kicking off our week talking about Independent Playtime for School Aged Children. As you know, we are big fans of Independent Playtime (we call it room time). I am so thankful that Val wrote about this topic because it is something I have struggled to know how to implement with LK since she started school.
I like how she says that "Just because you don't do it regularly through the school year doesn't mean you can't reinstate it when you need it". Because we have built such a foundation of this time, it is easy to reinstate it from time to time.
