I'm really excited to share with you a new blog segment I'm going to start implementing next week called "Wednesday Words". This is going to be a time and place for me to write about some more serious topics and ideas.



This blog is mainly a lifestyle blog and I love that. I love getting to document our life right now while our kids are young and growing. I like having an "online scrapbook" so to speak.

But, I also really want to develop and grow as a writer and blogger and I think this will provide me the space and challenge I need to do that. There have been some more serious topics I have written on in the past (like this one and this one), but I think having a set day and time for these kinds of posts will help challenge me to grow!

Some of the topic ideas I have in mind for coming Wednesdays are: The Power of Words, Fighting the Idol Battle as a Mother (to not make idols out of our kids), and Loneliness in Raising Gifted Children.  I would love for you to send me any topic ideas you may have! Send me an email, leave a comment here or on FB, however and let me know if you have any ideas you'd like me to write on!
