Surviving Partner-less

I miss my other half! This week has been long and tiring and makes me so greatful for such a great teammate to help me. I don't know what I would do without him!

Laura Kate has decided to regress back to NOT sleeping through the night. She misses her daddy and things just don't seem right without him here. It throws off both of our routines. It makes my heart sad because I know how much she loves her daddy!

So how do I survive?

1. Very sleepily
2. Lots of treats (for the toddler and the mommy!)
3. Sticking to the routine as much as possible
4. Fun projects (like LK's first pedicure)
5. Prayer, Prayer, Prayer, Prayer, (and in case you are wondering, like LK's PDO teacher, if I pray over her at night before I put her down, the answer is yes. Every full moon I pray over her --and every moon in between. ;)

We are surviving, but very ready for our man to be back home with us!!!

  1. I'd be willing to bet $$ that you're doing more than just surviving. You're a great momma!

And I love the new blog!

  3. I COMPLETELY understand! Sarah is such a Daddy's girl and we've been without him all week. This is the first time and it's been so tough! I just wanted you to know that I sympathize with you! This time has also made me so grateful for having such a wonderful spouse and teammate!

  4. I have a hard enough time now (without kids!) when my hubby is gone. I can't imagine what it will be like when we have little ones. Thank God for amazing partners who fill up so much of our lives that we notice the void when they're not around.
