My scripture verse that I've committed to memory this past half of the month is 1 Timothy 6:6:

"Godliness with contentment is great gain".

I can't tell you how many times a day I have recited that verse to myself. I have several thoughts, ideas and questions that run through my head when I think about the verse...

• "Godliness" comes first
  
• Contentment is really hard to embrace and accept
• Why is contentment so hard when God blesses us with more than we can fathom?
• How do you really achieve Godliness....what does that mean?
• The verse has a calming affect on me
  
• I want it...the whole verse: Godliness, contentment, and great gain

I want to get it, to truly get it. I want people to look at my life and see Godliness and Contentment. That is my prayer. Before they see cute clothes, how much weight I've lost, the great things I've done, all the things I've done perfectly, and certainly more than the things I've done imperfectly, I want them to see Godliness and Contentment.
